Love & Boundaries

Friendships, dating, attachment, heartbreak, and learning that boundaries aren't disrespect.

Many of us grew up in homes where love was shown through sacrifice, provision, and protection — but not always through words, softness, or asking how you feel. So when it comes to friendships and dating, we're often learning a language nobody taught us.

Boundaries can feel like betrayal when you were raised to believe that love means access — that saying no to family, friends, or a partner is cold or selfish. It isn't. A boundary is just an honest answer to the question: what do I need to stay well?

Heartbreak, attachment, the fear of being too much or not enough — these aren't small things. They shape how we move through every relationship we have. Naming them is the first step to choosing differently.

This space is for the messy, tender work of loving people — including yourself — without losing yourself in the process.
